Weakness:

Easy to anger - She doesn't get most jokes and sarcasm is lost on her. She is quick to lose her head and it takes a while to calm her down. Her hot-hotheadedness makes her less likely to think clearly during a fight.

Due to her affinity with snakes - she is cold blooded...she must stay warm at all times to be within her comfort zone. When she is in icy temperatures, she 'shuts down' and goes into a state of shock.

She must remain above ground...being trapped in the earth elicits a claustrophobic type reaction. Rhea begins to panic and lashes out at whatever is near and sometimes injures herself in the process.

Major Skills:

potion making skills - anything from sleeping droughts and love potions to deadly poisons
control over all serpents, except for basilisks and gorgons. (She has a tendency to anger the latter two species)

Minor Skills:

curses - In her current incarnation, she has had a harder time creating strong, lasting curses and plagues like she did in her previous lives. In the past she was known for her curses of disease and death, however now, for unknown reasons, the strongest curse she can create will only last for ten minutes, with minimal effect. (i.e, A curse to inflict pus filled boils upon someone only causes a short case of pimples.)

Species bio:

The Eirynes (Tisiphone, Megaira, and Alekto) were the three guardians of the underworld who avenged crimes against humanity, such as: Homicide, crimes against the gods, perjury, ect. The wrath of the Erinyes manifested itself in a number of ways. Murderers might suffer illness or disease; and a nation harboring such a criminal, could suffer dearth, and with it hunger and disease.

History:

Children of Olympus could not die in the traditional sense...they would simply be...reborn...a matter of time later. No matter how many times she had been reanimated, Tisiphone kept the memories of anger and contempt from her past incarnations; She bore a grudge still from her first incarnation - when she was sold into slavery by the spouse of a man her father had trusted. The dozens of deaths she had died did not change her temperament - she was still the most vicious of the furies.

She returned to Tartarus after a long day of tormenting a village who had not paid their homage to the gods, and was stopped by her two sisters. Although they were all similar in the age of their essence...Tisiphone had been killed again, 18 short years ago. Now her sisters looked like either could be her mother. The women traded glances and finally, after Tisiphone gave an irritated growl, Alekto handed her a sheet of parchment.

"What is that?" Her eyes narrowed.

"Your acceptance letter."

"...what?" Her eyes, dripping with blood, honed in on her eldest sister. The woman held her gaze but answered her simply.

"You need to learn to play well with others. You're going to Monster Academy."

*Whew* I have spent my entire day on this girl! lol

She is based off of the Greek mythological Furies...there was much debate over what the sisters looked like...I just picked one and went with it, adding my own tweeks...such as taking the snakes OUT of her hair. She's not Medusa. I also took away her wings...too much power in one character..not good.
