Weaknesses: 

 Claustrophobia: Cannot be in rooms with stagnant airflow. This will make him freak out and hyperventilate - usually triggering his intangibility. He has no problem with small rooms as long as there is a door or window to leave open.

 O Brother Where Art Thou: Aeolis is OBSESSED with his brother to the point of madness. Any mention of his brother or threats to his brother will put him in a rage and he wont be able to think clearly. When he's this volatile, it is easy to incapacitate him.  

 Far too bright: For being a summer wind spirit, Aeolis is far more comfortable during the night, overcast/cloudy days, or heavy rain. He finds sweating disgusting and would much rather find a nice spot of shade instead of walking about under the sun. 

 Double-edged Sword: Most of Aeolis' abilities can be seen as weaknesses. While he mostly uses his natural static electricity levels for pranks, it tends to bite him in the ass. Almost every time he goes somewhere, he has to spend a few moments pulling off the random items that stuck to him along the way. When his emotional state is unstable, his physical form becomes unstable as well and he reaches an intangible state. When this happens, he cannot focus on his surroundings so it either takes him a moment to regain his senses himself or somebody will have to get through to him. (See passive abilities) 

Skills: 

 Offensive 
     Shocking Isnt It: Aeolis naturally builds up high levels of static electricity in his day to day workings and no amount of dryer sheets can help. When he feels the need, he can concentrate it into a single touch to give someone a zap (only strong enough to leave them with a pins-and-needles sensation at the location of the shock) or piss someone off by sticking a balloon to their head. 
     Cloudy With A Chance of Bullshit: Whenever this dork feels that the day is just too hot to deal with and he doesnt want to trouble himself by finding shade, he can manipulate the clouds to give him a little cover. He cant control a large portion but can make around four feet of cloud cover in each direction. To the outside observer, it looks like his own private cloud floating over his head. 
    This only works one way: He can communicate telepathically with his brother only. 

 Defensive 
     Dont Stand So Close to Me: While it is an extremely weak ability, only lasting 60 seconds at the most, Aeolis can create a wall of wind around himself or another person. With patience, its annoying but easy to deal with...especially since he cant generate another wall of wind for at least twelve hours. This ability drains a lot of his powers at once.

 Passive 
     Now You See Me...: When his emotions become unstable, Aeolis reaches a state of intangibility. Since his initial make up is that of a breeze, his image will become hazy to the point of it seeming like a bad tv signal. He cannot control this ability. Some of his constitution becomes messed up during this event such as his being able to briefly walk through solid objects or lose density and begin floating a short distance. Once he calms down, he regains full tangibility. 



    Aeolis operates on a very simple system: If it entertains me and I like it, it belongs to me. Usually the 'it' is a person. He is very selfish and used to getting whatever he wants. He becomes easily bored and likes to cause trouble to liven things up a little. His favorite type of people who get worked up by his antics - either frightened or annoyed. The most fun way to play with his 'toys': make them cry. Showing any vulnerability around him is an invitation to keep invoking his torment. The best way to keep him from being interested in you is to ignore him. If you treat him like the hot air that he is, he'll write you off as 'not fun' and find someone else to stalk. He doesnt mind sexual relations - as long as no emotions or strings are attached. Fun is fun until its serious. If he starts to get the sense that things are 'serious' Aeolis will abandon that toy in favor of a new one. His first and only love is, after all, his beloved brother.   

History: 

The gods have children and then they have soldiers. The gods always like to play their hand in human affairs...the summer of 1945 was no different. The gods were so enraged that the German forces would dare try and take Sicily, they rallied the Roman human soldiers as well as made soldiers of their own. Wind gods, Septentrio, Subsolanus, Favonius, and Auster pulled their powers to make dozens of wind spirits to do their bidding. Favonius and Auster split a nearby Cirrostratus cloud and from it, spirits identical in appearance (though not in personality) were born fully formed. They had one purpose - to slow the efforts of the soldiers marching on Sicily. For days, the gods and spirits of the wind and rain worked together to create a storm that would render planes useless, bog down tanks, and lower the moral of any seeking to claim the Mediterranean. It would soon be claimed as one of the worst storms in Italian history. 

So proud with his creation's ruthless work, Auster named his top soldier after the king of the winds, Aeolis, as tribute. Jupiter, who contributed much to the great storm, became enamored with the Cirrostratus soldiers. However, Aeolis now being a tribute to another god, he could not lay claim as he liked. His focus turned to the more docile one - Aeron. He sent a messenger to fetch the spirit to his side...only to become enraged to find the messenger dead days later. While not genetically brothers, Aeolis felt a fierce protectiveness of the boy who had been formed from the same cloud that he had. For all intents and purposes, in his mind, it might as well have been their womb. When he learned that Aeron was to become a concubine for the god of the Roman pantheon, Aeolus slaughtered the one tasked with bringing his 'brother' to Jupiter. Insulted, the god demanded the two be destroyed for their defying his will. Instead, Favonius, the one who created Aeron, saw nothing but simple familial love between the two. He argued that it was natural to protect a sibling even if it meant defying the gods. Jupiter, albeit begrudgingly, granted a pardon for them, providing that they only be allowed to be together for one year after five years apart. 

Aeolis for his destructive nature, was given a job causing mishap with the ocean and storm spirits in the east: making typhoons and the like. Aeron, with his gentle one, was tasked with creating soft spring and summer breezes on Italian vineyards. Due to the time they had to spend apart, Aeolis became obsessed with his brother - staying by his side to an unhealthy level during the years they spent together. Any happiness Aeron had, belonged to Aeolis. Any lovers Aeron found met an untimely death or vanished. Nobody was good enough for Aeron save for himself in Aeolis's eyes. 

As sixty three years passed, and more and more continents experienced "natural disasters" at alarming rates much more than in the years beforehand, the gods of the storms began to be concerned with the happenings of the storm spirits. After they decided, on their own accord, to move their destruction to the pacific after causing trouble in the Atlantic, the spirts had the god's undivided attention. The four cardinal wind gods dispatched their more chaos inducing spirits to other locations - a few to each continent. Aeolis, at this time, was moved to the midwest, USA. During the next seven years he entertained himself by joining with the American based wind spirits to create massive storms and Tornados.  After leaving a trail of destruction in his wake, Aeolis's creator, Auster, grew frustrated with having to clean up his messes. As an attempt to humble him, he sentenced him to attend Hellsgate University. If anything, to teach him to control his powers in a less aggressive way.
